Dr. Anthony Vintzileos, Professor and Chair, NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island, NYU Long Island School of Medicine will lecture and will be honored with the Annual Award.

This Annual Conference has been held for over 20 years at Weill Medical College of New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York City.

Many important doctors have presented and many Cornell medical students of Hellenic descent have received the Annual Scholarship.

Dr. George Papanicolaou, the inventor of the PAP test that has saved the lives of millions of women worldwide, was a founder of our Hellenic Medical Society, a Professor of Anatomy at Cornell for many years, and a beacon of Hellenism globally.

It is important that the Hellenic doctors of New York in collaboration with the Medical College at Cornell, the Panevoikos Society, and the Federation of Hellenic Medical Societies of North America continue this tradition which is the most distinguished Dr. Papanicolaou scientific event in the Americas.
